The range of activities your BiOptic Telescope will help you with depends on your level of vision, your personal goals, and your ability to use a telescope. Learning to use your BiOptic takes practice and determination. Optima customers from 8 to 88 have achieved their personal goals with the them.
At long-range they can be used for television, at sports events, sightseeing, the theatre, direction signs, indicator boards at airports and stations, bus numbers, exhibitions, playing bowls, recognising friends in the street - even bird watching.
Intermediate situations include gardening, shopping, sight-reading of music while playing, reading a computer screen, looking at wall charts, paintings and objects at exhibitions, and many hobbies (but not including using machinery). Close range tasks can be a little more restricted, but often include reading shop prices, and expiry dates on cartons and cans, clothing sizes, cash machines, and playing cards and chess. |
